PEAK Developers Now Considering Potential Updates
Crossing 2 Million Sales in 9 Days Influences Their Plans

The wildly popular co-op climbing game PEAK has sold two million copies within nine days, prompting its developers to look into future updates. In a Steam blog post published on June 25, Landcrab—the collaborative team from Aggro Crab and Landfall—shared their intention to support the game with new content moving forward.
Initially, the developers noted in the game’s FAQ that they had no immediate plans for expansions, as both studios had other projects in development. However, the game's phenomenal reception has led them to re-evaluate, and they are now analyzing possible updates as a way of thanking the devoted community for its overwhelming support.
While the exact scope of new content remains uncertain, Landcrab confirmed that localization updates are coming soon. The team is open to considering player suggestions but cannot guarantee implementing every idea. "Potential updates may include quality-of-life improvements, new features, and some of the humorous additions we’ve wanted to implement from the start," Landcrab explained.
Focusing on Bug Fixes and Stability First

While new content is part of the long-term vision, Landcrab stressed that their immediate priority is ensuring the game remains stable and bug-free. "We're still prioritizing bug fixes and stability first, so don’t expect a major content update right away," they stated.
Common player reports include disconnection problems, performance optimization, audio glitches, and game crashes. Landcrab has committed to addressing these issues promptly but asks for the community’s patience, given their small team size.
In addition to technical improvements, the team is also working on official merchandise. "This is another area we hadn't originally planned to explore, but the enthusiasm from the community has inspired us. Keep an eye out for announcements!" they added.

PEAK continues its impressive run—a standout success story, especially considering it originated from a month-long game jam in Korea. Fans' passionate support has motivated the developers to enhance the game further, signaling that more content could be on the horizon.
Here at Game8, we awarded PEAK a score of 76 out of 100, praising its polished mechanics, clever cooperative design, and challenging environments. Despite occasional bugs and server hiccups, it delivers charm and engaging gameplay at a fair price. For our full review, check out the article linked below.
