During the April 14 episode of Koji Pro's radio broadcasts, Hideo Kojima unveiled that Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2) is incorporating a feature designed to assist less experienced players in overcoming boss fights. By choosing to "continue" after a game over, players can skip the combat and still advance, receiving a detailed narrative of the battle through visual novel elements.

Kojima also shared that DS2 is nearing completion, currently standing at 95% done. He likened the development stage to 10 PM on a 24-hour clock, indicating that only a couple of hours remain before the project is fully realized.
