In the latest season of Diablo 4, players have uncovered a new way to unleash an infinite damage build that significantly impacts server performance. This build, showcased by YouTuber Macrobioboi on May 9, leverages specific seasonal boss powers and the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect to devastating effect, clearing rooms of enemies with ease.

To execute this build, players must equip the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which inflicts a perpetual Vulnerable status on enemies, enhancing damage output until the enemy is defeated. When combined with the Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power, which typically removes the Vulnerable status but fails to do so due to the Vampiric Curse, enemies become endlessly stunned. The final piece of the puzzle, Varshan's Life Steal boss power, amplifies damage with each activation of a boss power.

The sheer number of calculations required for this build overwhelms the servers, causing noticeable lag. As demonstrated in wudijo's YouTube video, the screen becomes a flurry of skills and abilities, leaving enemies perpetually stunned. Wudijo commented, "There are a lot of calculations going on, it's very understandable that this is a laggy build."

Blizzard Entertainment has yet to address this issue, allowing players to continue exploiting this build, albeit at the cost of game performance.

Worrying Prices with Berserk Collab

Diablo 4 is currently celebrating a collaboration with the iconic manga Berserk, introducing a range of themed cosmetics and items. While the crossover is exciting, the high cost of these items has raised eyebrows among fans.

Players can earn Behelits through gameplay, which can be used to unlock free cosmetics from the Berserk Reliquary, including:

  • Hawks Destiny Back Trophy
  • Skull Knight’s Heraldry Mount Armor
  • Brand of Sacrifice Marking
  • Foretold Eclipse Headstone
  • Od of the Berserker Emblem

However, the premium sets, which truly capture the essence of Berserk, come with a steep price tag, requiring Diablo 4's premium currency, Platinum. The offerings include:

  • The Berserker Armor, Barbarian - 2,800 Platinum
  • The Hawk of Light, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
  • The Struggler, Rogue - 2,800 Platinum
  • The Skull Knight, Necromancer - 2,800 Platinum
  • The Schnoz, Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
  • Warhorse of the Hawk, Mount and Mount Armor - 2,500 Platinum

Each of these premium skins costs approximately $28, which is nearly half the price of the base game. Acquiring the entire collection would set players back $150, equivalent to a 15,000 Platinum bundle that includes an additional 3,500 Platinum.

While the pricing aligns with previous collaborations, such as with World of Warcraft, it sets a precedent that may influence future crossovers, potentially requiring fans to spend significant amounts to enjoy these events. Despite the high-quality designs, the cost is a significant deterrent for many players.
