Wuthering Waves Releases Version 2.3 with First Anniversary Celebrations

Wuthering Waves has launched its highly anticipated Version 2.3 update, titled "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer," which coincides with the game's first anniversary and its exciting debut on Steam. Now, players can enjoy the game on PC as well as mobile devices. This update is set to roll out in four phases, starting on April 29th and running until June 12th, 2025.

The "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer" update brings a plethora of new content, including new characters, captivating story arcs, and engaging event content. If you've reached a decent Union Level, there's a wealth of activities to explore over the next month or so.

The new storylines, "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither," promise thrilling adventures. Alongside these, players can encounter a fresh wave of Phantom Echoes, including Crownless (with its Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and the sneaky Chest Mimic, adding new challenges and excitement to the game.

To celebrate the game's anniversary and Steam launch, several login events are scheduled. The "Gifts of Grand Celebration" event, running from May 23rd to June 11th, offers rewards like Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance for players at Union Level 8 and above. Additionally, "Gifts of Grand Reunion" (April 29th to June 11th) and "Gifts of Melodic Verses" (June 5th to June 19th) provide Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and various upgrade materials for logging in.

New and Returning Minigames

The update also brings back the beloved Cubie Derby, available as both a warm-up leisure event and a spectator event where players can cheer for their favorite Cubes. Roll the dice, move your Cube on the board, and collect rewards such as Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.

In the first phase of the update, players have the opportunity to pull for new Resonators like Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with powerful weapons such as Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This phase will run until June 11th, giving players ample time to enhance their roster.
