EA Play to Remove 2 Games in February 2025

Two games are set to leave the EA Play lineup in February 2025, with specific removal dates confirmed. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15, while F1 22 will be taken off the service on February 28. Additionally, UFC 3's online services are scheduled to shut down on February 17, significantly limiting gameplay functionality.

For EA Play subscribers, these removals mean access to these titles through the subscription service will no longer be available after the specified dates. It’s important to note that while the games are simply being removed from EA Play for now, future online closures may follow.

Games Leaving EA Play in February 2025

  • Madden NFL 23 – Removed February 15
  • F1 22 – Removed February 28

These removals are not the only concern for fans. UFC 3 will also see its online features shut down on February 17, making it much less playable even if still accessible via EA Play. Whether or not the game remains available on the service after this date has yet to be clarified, but the loss of multiplayer support is a major drawback.

Despite the departures and shutdowns, there is some good news. Newer entries in each franchise remain available on EA Play:

  • Madden NFL 24
  • F1 23
  • UFC 4

Moreover, UFC 5 is set to join the EA Play lineup on January 14, 2025, giving fans a fresh installment to enjoy just ahead of the other changes.

EA Play continues to offer a diverse library of games, both new and classic, as part of its subscription benefits. While saying goodbye to older titles is never easy, having access to the latest versions helps ease the transition. Subscribers are encouraged to make the most of Madden NFL 23, F1 22, and UFC 3 before their respective deadlines arrive.
