Pokémon Go Tour: Unova Reveals Event Details
The Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is just around the corner, bringing with it a host of exciting updates and features. As you prepare to dive into the world of Unova, you'll encounter new music, exclusive Special Research, and a variety of new avatar items to enhance your gaming experience.
One of the highlights of the event is the world premiere of new music inspired by Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2. This captivating soundtrack, crafted by the renowned composer Junichi Masuda, will set the stage as you navigate the map, engage in thrilling raids, and catch Pokémon throughout the event.
A significant decision awaits you during the event: the choice between Reshiram and Zekrom. Through the new Special Research story titled "It's Not Over Yet," you'll select between two event badges - Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom). This choice will not only influence your gameplay but also determine the unique rewards and bonuses you'll receive.
For those battling against Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in five-star raids, all subsequent Kyurem encounters will feature the Charged Attack Glaciate. If you're attending the in-person events in New Taipei City or Los Angeles, you're in for a treat - every Kyurem you encounter will automatically know this powerful attack, without the need to choose a badge.
Don't miss out on the new avatar items available during the event. You can earn the Go Tour 2025 Tee as your first reward with the free Tour Pass. Upgrade to the Tour Pass Deluxe to unlock the Kyurem Helmet. Additionally, the Black Kyurem Wings and White Kyurem Backpack will be available for purchase in the shop, alongside the exclusive Shiny Meloetta Tee, which is part of the new Masterwork Research.
To add even more excitement to your journey, consider the Road to Unova event add-ons. The Raids add-on offers raid bonuses and the stylish Black and White Joggers, while the Hatch add-on provides Egg bonuses, Pokémon encounters, and the cozy Black and White Hoodie. Both options come with Timed Research, providing additional rewards to enhance your adventure.
Mark your calendars - the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova kicks off on March 1st. Be sure to visit the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on everything you need before the event begins.
