Freedom Wars Remastered features eight CODE levels. Progression is linear; you can't revert to a lower level. Each level grants access to new Entitlements and operations, making strategic resource management crucial, especially in Deadly Sinner Mode.
How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered
To check CODE upgrade requirements, speak with your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions." Typically, you'll need to reduce your sentence to a specific year milestone and unlock certain Entitlements. This menu is always accessible, so check it before spending Entitlement Points to avoid unnecessary resource donations. Donating high-end resources and weapons often provides sufficient points for multiple Entitlements.
While fulfilling all listed conditions is necessary for CODE rank-ups, your CODE level is intrinsically linked to the main storyline. Completing main story missions and operations, alongside those conditions, is required to pass the CODE exam—itself a story element. Sometimes, main story progression substitutes for the CODE exam.
Operations are also categorized by CODE level, indicating difficulty. Most operations are completed through story progression, though optional operations may unlock to assist players unprepared for their new CODE level's challenges.
