Pokémon TCG Pocket Update: Trading Feature Delayed to Autumn
The launch of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket was eagerly awaited by fans, but it quickly encountered its first major challenge with the implementation of its trading system. Initially, the trading feature was hindered by the need for hard-to-obtain currency and restrictive trading rules, causing frustration among players. However, a recent update aims to address these issues and enhance the trading experience.
One significant change is the complete removal of Trade Tokens. Players will no longer need to exchange cards to acquire the currency needed for trading. Instead, trading cards of three-diamond, four-diamond, and one-star rarity will now require Shinedust. This new currency is earned by opening booster packs and receiving cards that are already registered in your Card Dex.
For those who already possess Trade Tokens, they can be converted into Shinedust. Given that Shinedust is also essential for obtaining flair, further modifications to this system are planned. Additionally, an upcoming update will introduce a feature allowing players to share cards they're interested in trading directly within the game.
Trading spaces As previously noted, the initial introduction of trading seemed half-hearted, with restrictions necessitated by the digital environment to prevent abuse. While these changes are a step in the right direction, they won't be implemented until autumn at the earliest, leaving fans waiting through the spring and summer.
Despite the slow pace of these updates, it's clear that the team behind Pokémon TCG Pocket is committed to addressing player feedback.
