Adeptus Custodes, Emperor's Children Join Warhammer 40000: Tacticus and Warpforge

The Warhammer Skulls 2025 event has delivered an impressive array of new content across the Warhammer universe, leaving fans spoilt for choice. For mobile gamers, two significant additions are making waves: the Adeptus Custodes in Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus and the Emperor’s Children in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge.

Command the Adeptus Custodes

The Adeptus Custodes, known as the Emperor’s elite bodyguards, are joining Tacticus. Known for their unmatched strength, resilience, and firepower, they represent the pinnacle of Imperial might. Leading this faction is Trajann Valoris, a warrior built to endure heavy blows while dishing out even greater retaliation.

Kill at the Command of the Emperor’s Children

In stark contrast, Warpforge introduces the Emperor’s Children, a faction that rebelled against the Imperium during the Horus Heresy. Known for their obsession with pleasure, pain, and excess, they embody chaos in its purest form.

This faction includes three distinct warlords: Lord Kaphrael, who specializes in eliminating enemy champions; Xarahan, the embodiment of arrogance; and Lucius the Eternal, a master duelist with centuries of combat experience.

Mechanics such as Ecstasy, Cruelty, and Stimulation add layers of complexity to gameplay. Cards marked with Ecstasy trigger effects when their health reaches a critical low, while Cruelty rewards players for dealing damage without killing. Meanwhile, Stimulation activates when units are targeted by stratagems, and Combat Elixirs generate additional stratagems to amplify these effects. Watch the trailer here.
