Where To Find Something Infested With Fleas in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
One side quest, "A Good Scrub," in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* unlocks a series of bathhouse-related quests requiring you to locate specific items. This guide details how to find something infested with fleas for Betty.
Pick Up ‘A Good Scrub’
Speak to the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about work. This will lead you to Betty, the bathhouse owner, located in the southeast part of the city. Accept her offer to help find Matsek in Grund. Matsek is hesitant to be seen with the potential bathhouse employees, so discreetly approach him in the courtyard where he's waiting with three women. After speaking with them, escort them to the bathhouse.
Promote the Bathhouse
Following the successful recruitment, Betty tasks you with promoting the bathhouse. Craft a sales pitch with her, then shout it out in the grain market, horse market, vintners’ street, and merchants’ street. Remember, this must be done during the daytime.
Clean Up the Bathhouse and Finish ‘A Good Scrub’
Before the alderman's inspection, thoroughly clean the bathhouse. Failure to complete this task promptly will result in its closure, preventing you from progressing to the "Ill Repute" quest.
Finding Fleas for ‘Ill Repute’ in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After a successful inspection, speak to Betty again. She’ll reveal the council's decision-making process for selecting the city's main bathhouse, requiring you to persuade the councillor to abandon a rival establishment. Gather information from Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida about the councillor's preferences.
You'll need chamomile brew for the wine cask on the second floor of the competing bathhouse. Note that Lida requires a noblewoman's dress (obtainable from a tailor) before revealing the councillor's fondness for fragrant oils. Alternatively, you can acquire these oils by pickpocketing them from a cabinet on the third floor.
Katcha mentions the bathhouse's past flea infestation. To obtain the flea-infested item, head to Kuttenberg's east gate. There, you'll find a beggar's camp; search their sacks for a flea-infested blanket.
Once obtained, return to the bathhouse and discreetly place the fleas in Councillor Naaz’s laundry basket and a clean laundry basket. Note that successfully completing one of these tasks is sufficient to achieve your goal. This will allow you to complete the quest and move on to other adventures, such as "Axe from the Lake."
