Extra Stars Fate Post-Jingle Joy Album in Monopoly GO
Quick Links
Monopoly GO’s festive Jingle Joy sticker album, which ran from December 5, 2024, to January 16, 2025, brought players a whirlwind of holiday cheer with its collection of festive stickers, special events, and a bounty of holiday-themed tokens, shields, and emojis. Throughout this period, players amassed numerous duplicate stickers, which, even after trading, often left them with spares. These duplicates are transformed into Stars in Monopoly GO. Curious about what happens to your surplus Stars once the Jingle Joy album concludes? Let’s dive in.
What Happens to Stars At the End of Jingle Joy Sticker Album?
As the Jingle Joy album wraps up, all sticker sets and the "Stickers for Rewards" section will be reset to start afresh. If you're sitting on a pile of unused Stars, fret not. Any Stars you haven’t used to unlock a vault will be automatically converted into essential dice rolls. The conversion maxes out at over 700 Stars for 750 dice rolls.
However, if you possess more than 700 Stars, any excess will unfortunately go to waste. It’s wise to strategically use these Stars to unlock vaults and boost your rewards before the launch of the next sticker album in Monopoly GO. You’ll find three tiers of safes in the Stickers for Rewards menu, each offering different rewards:
Safe | Cost | Rewards |
---|---|---|
Orange Vault | 250 Stars | 200 Dice + Pink Sticker Pack |
Blue Vault | 450 Stars | 350 Dice + Pink and Blue Sticker Packs |
Gold Vault | 700 Stars | 500 Dice + Blue and Purple Sticker Packs + Swap Pack |
To ensure you benefit from the conversion bonus, aim to save at least 700 Stars, which will convert to 750 Dice Rolls at the start of the next album. You can then use any additional Stars on the less expensive safes to squeeze out extra dice.
How To Get More Stars in Monopoly GO
When you collect a sticker you already own, it turns into a duplicate, which then converts to Stars. The number of Stars you earn from each duplicate depends on the sticker's rarity. A common sticker might only net you a few Stars, whereas a rare Gold sticker can offer a significantly larger haul—typically double the Stars.
To optimize your Star collection, avoid opening vaults indiscriminately. Instead, hold off for a Sticker Boom event and plan your moves to maximize your rewards.
