Airi Build Guide: Mastering Airi in Blue Archive
Airi may not be the most dazzling character in Blue Archive, but her unique support toolkit can truly shine in the right context. In this RPG, she's recognized for her attack speed debuffs and buffs, making her an invaluable asset when controlling the tempo is more critical than dealing sheer damage. While she isn't commonly used in general scenarios, Airi finds her niche in specific late-game raids, such as ShiroKuro (Insane), where her abilities help manipulate boss mechanics effectively.
Airi isn't a priority build for new players or general progression. Her EX Skill is costly and situational, and her overall impact can be limited in scenarios where enemies remain in cover or are stationary. Nonetheless, for seasoned players aiming to optimize their endgame raid runs, Airi serves as a valuable tool when strategically deployed.
What Makes Airi Special
Airi's toolkit revolves around speed control. Her Sub Skill passively enhances the Attack Speed of all allies, while her Basic Skill consistently reduces the Attack Speed of a single enemy. These abilities work together to subtly tilt battles in your favor, particularly in content where interrupting or delaying enemy attacks is crucial.
When building Airi, don't focus on damage stats. Instead, prioritize her survivability and ability to remain active on the field consistently.
Using Airi in Battle
In combat, Airi operates passively most of the time. Her Sub and Basic Skills activate automatically, requiring minimal player intervention. This makes her an effortless addition as a support option when needed.
If you decide to utilize her EX Skill, time it when enemies are moving through chokepoints or are grouped together. The slow effect can hinder how quickly enemies reposition or engage. In ShiroKuro raids, particularly, her skills can manipulate boss attack patterns, maximizing team damage output in phase 2.
However, outside of this specific scenario, Airi's EX Skill may not justify the 5 SP cost, as it only offers soft crowd control.
Unlike the game's top-tier characters, Airi isn't a character you'll use frequently, but she has her moments. In late-game content like ShiroKuro (Insane), her kit provides unique utility that can make a significant difference when timed correctly. Otherwise, she remains a niche support unit, best suited for content that aligns with her strengths.
If you plan to use Airi, focus on leveraging her Sub Skill and integrate her into teams that benefit from speed-based support. For the best experience in managing her skill activations and raid strategies, consider playing Blue Archive on PC with BlueStacks for smoother controls and enhanced performance.
