Romancing SaGa Re:universe to End Service, Confirms Square Enix
Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global server is closing on December 2nd, 2024. While the Japanese version continues, this marks the end of a four-year run for the global release, which launched in June 2020.
Two Months Remain
In-app purchases and Google Play Points exchanges have already ceased. Players have until December to enjoy the game's remaining content.
The global version, despite its impressive visuals and generous gacha system, received mixed player feedback. The lack of significant content updates, such as the Solistia region and 6-star units (available in the Japanese version for almost a year), contributed to its decline.
A Trend of Closures?
Square Enix has closed several mobile titles this year, including Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and two Dragon Quest games, preceding the closure of Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global service.
Romancing SaGa Re:universe is a classic turn-based RPG based on the SaGa series. Whether you're a long-time fan or a curious newcomer, there are still two months left to experience this mobile title before its servers go offline. Download it from the Google Play Store.
