"Phasmophobia Weekly Challenge: Mastering the Primitive Challenge"
If you're diving into the Primitive weekly challenge in *Phasmophobia*, you might feel like you've been transported back to the Stone Age. But unlike cavemen, you've got ghosts to deal with, and no electronics to help you out. Can you navigate this challenge successfully? Let's find out.
How To Complete The Primitive Challenge in Phasmophobia
The Primitive Challenge is one of the toughest weekly challenges in *Phasmophobia*. The key twist? You're stripped of all electronics, leaving you to rely on intuition and knowledge of ghost behavior to identify and investigate the ghost. This challenge takes place at 10 Ridgeview Court, a house-style map with a more navigable layout, which is a small mercy. To earn full credit, you need to successfully complete three investigations.
Tips & Tricks To Complete Primitive Challenge in Phasmophobia
Facing the Primitive Challenge requires you to adapt to a limited loadout. Electronics are off the table, which means no Flashlights, DOTs Projectors, or Video Cameras. Even Sanity Medication is out, but you start with a full Sanity meter, which is a small comfort.
Your equipment includes two Tier 1 Crucifixes to prevent ghost hunts, Tier 2 Firelights, and a full set of Tier 1 Incense for protection. For evidence gathering, you're limited to two Tier 3 Ghost Writing books and two Tier 1 UV lights, which double as your flashlights. You also have two Tier 1 thermometers to detect freezing temperatures.
To succeed, hone your paranormal intuition. Each ghost in *Phasmophobia* has unique behavioral traits that can help you identify them. Use our no-evidence cheat sheet to get a leg up on recognizing these traits.
Your priority should be locating the ghost quickly. The lack of access to the fuse box means your sanity is at greater risk in the dark, but the ghost's increased activity should make it easier to find. Alternatively, you can use the provided Ouija Board, located in the laundry room on the first floor, to ask the ghost about its favorite room. Be cautious, as this costs 50% of your sanity, and always say "Goodbye" to avoid triggering a Cursed Hunt. This method is particularly useful in group play.
How To Access Challenge Mode in Phasmophobia
To tackle the weekly challenge, choose either Singleplayer or Multiplayer. Navigate to your Difficulty Settings, located above your profile ID, and select 'Challenge Mode'. Apply the setting, return to the main menu, and select 10 Ridgeview Court on the map board. Remember, the loadout is fixed and cannot be changed. When ready, select 'Ready Up' and 'Start' to begin.
