Orna, The GPS MMORPG, Is Dropping Terra's Legacy To Raise Environmental Awareness

Join Orna's Terra's Legacy: A Real-World Environmental RPG Event!

Northern Forge Studios' Orna, the fantasy RPG and GPS MMO, is launching Terra's Legacy, a unique in-game event tackling real-world environmental pollution. From September 9th to 19th, players will battle pollution-themed enemies and contribute to cleaning up the planet.

Combating Pollution, In-Game and Out:

Terra's Legacy merges virtual gameplay with real-world action. Players will identify polluted locations in their surroundings and submit them through the Orna app. Northern Forge will then transform these locations into in-game "Gloomsites," representing real-world environmental challenges.

At these Gloomsites, players confront the Murk, a pollution-themed enemy. Defeating the Murk contributes to raising awareness about pollution and allows players to plant virtual trees and grow Gaia apples in the corresponding real-world locations. These apples can be used to customize characters and enhance their magical abilities, with the added benefit of being harvestable by other players. The more players participate, the greater the impact, both in-game and in reality.
