Mecha BREAK to Unlock All Starting Mechs After Feedback

Author : Camila Update : May 14,2025

Mecha BREAK, the exciting multiplayer mech game, has recently wrapped up its open beta phase on Steam, ending on March 16. The beta attracted a massive audience, with player numbers peaking at over 300,000, making it one of the most anticipated titles, currently ranking as the 5th most wishlisted game on the platform.

In response to the valuable feedback gathered during the open beta, the Chinese developer, Amazing Seasun, is actively considering significant changes to enhance the player experience. One of the key considerations is the potential to make all starting mechs, known as Break Strikers, freely available to players right from the start. This move is aimed at addressing concerns about the grind required to unlock all 12 Break Strikers using in-game currency earned through multiplayer matches.

While no final decisions have been made, Amazing Seasun is exploring adjustments not only to the availability of Break Strikers but also to the usage of mech modules in both 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes. The developer remains committed to a live service model at launch, which they believe is crucial for the long-term success and evolution of Mecha BREAK.
