Marvel Snap's Sanctum Showdown: A New Limited-Time Mode

Get ready for a spellbinding showdown! Marvel Snap has launched a new limited-time mode, Sanctum Showdown, offering a unique competitive experience. This two-week event introduces innovative snapping mechanics and a fresh win condition.

How to Play Sanctum Showdown:

• First to 16 Points Wins: Forget the usual six-turn structure. Victory goes to the first player to reach 16 points.
• The Sanctum Location: This crucial location awards the most points each turn, making it a key strategic element.
• Dynamic Snapping: Starting on turn three, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's point value by one, creating constant shifts in momentum.

Rewards and Gameplay:

• Scrolls: Entering a match costs one Scroll, but winning earns you another. You begin with 12 Scrolls and gain two more every eight hours. Additional Scrolls can be purchased for 40 Gold.
• Sorcerer Rank & Charms: Every match, win or lose, contributes to your Sorcerer Rank and awards Charms. These Charms can be redeemed in the Sanctum Shop for exclusive cosmetics and new cards.
• Banned Cards and Locations: For balanced gameplay, certain cards and locations are banned, including those that manipulate final scores or enable overly dominant strategies (e.g., cards like Captain Marvel, Dracula, and Debrii).

Exclusive Card Acquisition:

This mode presents a unique opportunity to acquire Laufey, Gorgon, and Uncle Ben before their arrival in the Token Shop on March 13th. Participate in Portal Pulls for a chance to unlock these cards and potentially up to four additional Series 4 or 5 cards.
