KEMCO's Alphadia III RPG Now Available Worldwide on Android
Today marks the global release of Alphadia III on Android, the third installment in the beloved Alphadia series. Brought to you by publisher KEMCO and developer EXE CREATE, this game hit Japanese markets back in October of the previous year.
What’s the Story in Alphadia III?
Set in the Alphadian Year 970, Alphadia III plunges players into the climactic stages of the Energi War, a monumental struggle over a mysterious life force known as energi. The world is divided among three major powers: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east, each vying for control.
Amidst escalating tensions, the story introduces us to a clone soldier named Alfonso. His life takes a dramatic turn when a girl named Tarte visits him with the news of a fellow clone's death, setting off a chain of events that could change the course of the war.
What’s the Gameplay Like?
Alphadia III retains the series' signature turn-based combat, presented in a classic pixel art style with side-view battles. Key to the gameplay are SP Skills, which charge during combat and can significantly shift the battle's momentum if used at the right moment.
Players can also utilize Arrays, tactical battle formations that unlock as you progress, offering varied strategies to tackle different foes. A unique feature introduced in this installment is the Energi Crock. By adding spare items to it during your journey, it gradually produces Energi Elements, which can be exchanged for equipment or other valuable items at in-game shops.
Throughout your adventure, you'll encounter various factions such as Deval, a peacekeeping alliance, and elite military units like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. The game also features different energi clone models, including the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.
In addition to the main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. You can purchase the full version on the Google Play Store for $7.99, or opt for the freemium version on Android, which includes ads.
