Trinkets: The New Power-Ups
The core gameplay mechanic revolves around Trinkets. There are 56 Lesser and 60 Greater Trinkets, with the possibility of obtaining duplicates. These powerful enhancements are offered on turns 6 and 9, presenting four choices each time. Importantly, the Trinkets offered are tailored to your current hero and board composition, ensuring a diverse and strategic experience for players utilizing Elementals, Dragons, Murlocs, or other minion types.
Marin the Manager: The New Hero
Meet Marin the Manager, the fresh face in Hearthstone Season 8. Marin's unique ability allows you to acquire a Trinket a turn earlier than usual, giving you a significant advantage over opponents.

Minions and Spells: A Roster Refresh
Season 8 sees a significant minion roster update. While 41 minions are rotating out, 22 fan favorites return, accompanied by 27 brand-new minions and 2 exciting Tavern spells.
New Cards to Collect
Four new cards add to the strategic depth:
- Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
- Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Buffs your lower-tier minions.
- Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms a Tier 3 minion into a Golden minion.
- Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's three leftmost minions.
Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event
From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete Event Quests to earn a total of 14 card packs, including rewards from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
