Helldivers 2 PlayStation Leak Suggests Players Will Fight Against the Illuminate on Super Earth Itself Next Week — and Now Gameplay of Super Earth Mega Cities Has Leaked, Too

Eagle-eyed Helldivers 2 fans have noticed what appears to be a leak from PlayStation hinting that players will soon battle the Illuminate on the streets of Super Earth.

This week, developer Arrowhead rolled out the full Illuminate invasion, introducing new enemy types along the way. In-game messaging implied the Illuminate were advancing directly toward Super Earth—and now, a post from the official Czech Republic Threads account suggests the Illuminate won’t just reach our home planet, but that we’ll have to defend it.

Adding to the speculation is the timing: a May 20 launch would align perfectly with the expected conclusion of the current Major Order.

This all feels almost certain, especially given the language Sony and Arrowhead have used—“High Command believes this Fleet's ultimate objective to be the invasion of Super Earth itself” and “Battle on Super Earth is inevitable.”

Fans believe the Czech account unintentionally revealed Helldivers 2’s next major update, including plans to fight on Super Earth itself. If accurate, this would be a major evolution for the explosive third-person action game, which currently features only alien planet maps. Fighting on Super Earth would bring a fresh, high-stakes dimension to the experience.
