Dark & Darker Mobile slated for soft launch in Canada next month, release in first half of this year

Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular extraction dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, is set for a soft launch in Canada on February 5th. A worldwide launch is planned for the first half of this year. Pre-registration is open, and significant updates are expected before the global release.

Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler gameplay. Players, solo or in parties, choose from a range of classic fantasy classes—fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, bards, and more—to explore a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players for valuable loot.

The original PC version of Dark and Darker was a major success, prompting Krafton to secure the mobile adaptation rights. With the global launch imminent, further improvements are underway.

Enhanced Gameplay Awaits

Key upcoming changes include refinements to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, along with dungeon structural overhauls to enhance party play. Class differentiation will be improved through enhanced basic attacks and combat mechanics, and a wider array of weapons and skills will be added.
