Crafting Artian Weapons Guide for Monster Hunter Wilds
Curious about Artian weapons in *Monster Hunter Wilds*? These innovative weapons are a fresh addition to the game, offering you the ability to craft unique armaments with customizable stats and elements. However, unlocking this feature is a late-game endeavor. Let's dive into everything you need to know about Artian weapons.
How to Craft Artian Weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds
To unlock Artian weapons, you'll first need to complete the main story and achieve High Rank status. Following this, you must defeat your first Tempered monster, which the NPCs will highlight for its toughness and scars. After overcoming this challenge, Gemma will initiate a conversation about Artian weapons, triggering a tutorial on how to craft them.
Crafting an Artian weapon involves three components per weapon type, each with a rarity value, an element type, and an Artian bonus. To craft a weapon, you must use components with the same rarity value. The element of your weapon will be determined by the majority element among your components. For example, using two water and one lightning component will result in a water weapon, while three different elements will yield a weapon with no elemental infusion.
The Artian bonus enhances either your attack, which boosts the general damage your weapon can deal, or your affinity, which increases your critical hit chance. Your choice depends on your preferred playstyle. To proceed, you'll need to gather Artian materials.
How to Get Artian Materials in Monster Hunter Wilds
Obtaining Artian materials involves hunting Tempered monsters in High Rank areas. After defeating your first Tempered monster, you'll start encountering one or two in various locations, identified by a blue outline on the map. Defeating or capturing these monsters will reward you with Artian parts, which you can find among the main mission rewards and decorations.
As your Hunter Rank increases, the rarity of these Artian parts will also improve, naturally progressing with your gameplay. While there's no direct correlation between the monster you hunt and the specific Artian drops, you can focus on hunting monsters you enjoy fighting or those whose parts you need for other weapons or armor. This way, you can efficiently farm the materials necessary to craft your desired Artian weapons.
