The game unfolds on a bizarre space station orbiting Jupiter, a location shrouded in acid rain and mystery. Here, intelligent orangutans work the docks, and cultists barter flesh for spiritual enlightenment.
Lila, a woman with the extraordinary ability to create universes from her very hands, is at the heart of the mystery.
The game begins in the dilapidated mining colony shantytown, where you play as the Master, a skeletal cultist from the Cult of Detachment – a character both unsettling and captivating.
Your exploration of the ramshackle colony, filled with quirky tea shops and other oddities, leads you to Honin’s Tea House, Lila's shop. The game slowly unveils the mystery surrounding Lila as you shift between her perspective and the Master's.
Playing as Lila involves creating universes in a mini-game, blending ingredients to produce visually stunning worlds. As the Master, you delve into the Cult of Detachment's philosophies and encounter the Church of Many Gods.
The narrative unfolds gradually, prompting players to theorize about the underlying events. Each character, be it human, skeletal, or robotic, possesses a unique story, and the richly detailed world invites exploration.
