Civilization 7, developed by Firaxis Games, is set to launch on February 11, but the excitement doesn't stop there. The roadmap unveiled by the devs promises four new content releases in March. Just days before the game's release, Firaxis Games detailed what players can expect in early and late March. The updates are divided into three categories: Content Collections (paid DLCs), Free Updates, and Events & Challenges. Here's what's coming in March:

Looking beyond March, the developers have teased the addition of 2 new Leaders, 4 new Civilizations, and 4 new World Wonders, along with new events and challenges. While specific release dates for this content remain undisclosed, players can also look forward to new content in October 2025 and beyond.

Firaxis Games has also shared a list of planned updates that were initially intended for the launch but will be released post-launch. Although there are no set release dates yet, the developers are committed to delivering these updates as soon as possible. The planned updates include:

• Adding Teams to multiplayer
• Expanding the number of players in multiplayer mode to 8
• Allowing players to pick "starting and ending Age"
• Creating "a wider variety of map types"
• Adding hotseat in multiplayer
