Kai: Encountered early in Dawnshore, near Paradis, Kai, a formidable ex-mercenary with a tender heart, is your first true companion. His tank-like capabilities in combat, combined with fire-based abilities to overcome environmental obstacles, make him an invaluable asset. His skillset includes:

• Fire and Ire (Active): A powerful blunderbuss shot that stuns and taunts a single enemy.
• Unbending Defense (Active): Regenerates health and increases damage reduction.
• Leap of Daring (Active): A stunning, taunting leap attack affecting nearby enemies.
• Second Win (Passive): Revives with 50% health upon reaching zero.

Marius: Found in Dawnshore, Marius shares a history with Kai. This expert hunter and tracker brings his skills to both combat and exploration. His abilities include:

• Binding Roots (Active): Roots an enemy in place.
