Zelda: Teardrop Kingdom Player Crafts Drivable Warship

A creative Tears of the Kingdom player has engineered a remarkable Zonai device cruiser. Players are leveraging the game's building mechanics – combining planks, Zonai devices, and shrine items – to construct everything from simple rafts to sophisticated aircraft and, as demonstrated here, impressive warships. The game's expansive map, including the Depths and Sky Islands, makes vehicle creation almost essential for efficient exploration.

The benefits of early vehicle construction are clear; traversing Hyrule on horseback is significantly slower. Planes and land vehicles offer unparalleled speed and access to all areas.

Reddit user ryt1314059 showcased their creation: a highly maneuverable and swift cruiser. This functional warship boasts two automatically targeting Zonai cannons, and exhibits impressive agility in water despite its size. Construction materials include planks, cannons, fans, homing carts, a battery, and railings, all readily available near the Construct Factory.

The cruiser's design cleverly incorporates railings connecting cannons and planks, boosting maneuverability and torque for easier coastal exploration. Zonai fans act as propellers, providing wind-powered thrust. These components (excluding railings) are easily obtained from device dispensers.

Tears of the Kingdom offers a diverse array of Zonai devices (fans, hover stones, steering sticks, etc.) to enhance custom creations. Each device provides unique functionality, enabling the construction of diverse vehicles and solving complex puzzles across the game's vast landscape. Zonai charges can be used in gachapon machines (frequently found on Sky Islands) to acquire these items.

Beyond Zonai devices and shrine rewards, powerful abilities like Ultrahand, Recall, and Fuse allow for complex item combinations and attachments to weapons and shields. These abilities, unlocked through shrine completion, are crucial for constructing intricate structures.
