Tribe Nine, from the creator of Danganronpa, set to open pre-registration

Tribe Nine, a new mobile ARPG from Danganronpa creators Rui Komatsuzaki and Kazutaka Kodaka, is now accepting pre-registrations for Android and iOS! Pre-register to receive an exclusive skin and other rewards.

Komatsuzaki's distinctive art style and Kodaka's design prowess, hallmarks of the popular PSP visual novel Danganronpa, are reunited in this exciting new title. Set in a dystopian Neo-Tokyo of 20XX, players join a group of teenagers competing in the perilous Extreme Games, orchestrated by the enigmatic Zero.

Pre-registering grants players the Parallel Cypher/Y skin for Koishi Kohinata. Tribe Nine blends thrilling action with a retro aesthetic, seamlessly transitioning between a retro-style overworld and full 3D battles. Players can customize their characters with equipment and Tension Cards for unique builds.

While Danganronpa may be considered a classic now, its unique blend of art and murder-mystery gameplay was groundbreaking for its time. Whether Tribe Nine achieves similar success remains to be seen. Although its visuals are striking, the 3D turn-based battle genre is saturated. Tribe Nine will need a unique element to stand out in the crowded mobile gaming market.
