Sybo\'s new game Subway Surfers City stealth-drops into soft launch on iOS and Android

Surprise! Sybo Games has quietly released a new Subway Surfers title – Subway Surfers City – for iOS and Android devices in select regions. This soft launch offers a glimpse at a game boasting improved graphics and many features refined over the original's long lifespan.

The game appears to be a direct sequel, addressing the aging aspects of the original 2012 release. Expect familiar characters, updated hoverboard mechanics, and a visual overhaul.

Currently, the iOS soft launch includes the UK, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, Netherlands, and the Philippines. Android users in Denmark and the Philippines can also join the early access.

A Bold Move for Sybo

Sybo's decision to create a sequel to its flagship title is a significant gamble. The aging Unity engine used in the original likely spurred this development, limiting the potential for further enhancements.
