Sprigaito Takes Center Stage in Pokemon Go's 2025 Community Day
Get ready for the first Pokémon Go Community Day of 2025! The event kicks off on January 5th, featuring the Grass-type starter Sprigatito.
From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild. This is your best chance to catch plenty of them!
Evolving your Sprigatito into Floragato and then Meowscarada during the event (or within the five hours afterward) will unlock the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It also permanently learns Flower Trick, boosting its battle capabilities.
This Community Day is packed with bonuses! Enjoy triple Stardust, double Candy for every catch, and a doubled chance at Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and above. Lure Modules and Incense will last three hours, and trades cost half the usual Stardust, with an extra Special Trade thrown in.
For an added challenge, a paid Special Research story ($2) offers exclusive rewards, including a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research will continue the fun for a week post-Community Day, culminating in a Sprigatito with a special Dual Destiny-themed background.
