Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all set to receive updates ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s launch

Get Ready for Sonic Mania! Sega unleashes a wave of mobile game updates timed with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all getting movie-inspired content.

First up, Sonic Forces (December 12th) gets a brand-new Metro-city Zone, featuring three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other classic characters. Complete the levels before seeing the movie for the ultimate experience!

Next, Sonic Dream Team (December 18th) adds Movie Shadow as a playable character with new abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift, allowing time manipulation. Unlock him through Tails’ Challenges. New powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost are also added for all characters, plus exclusive upgrades for Shadow (including Double Chaos Shift), six new Shadow-themed statues, and music tracks. A revamped tutorial will ease new players into the game.

Lastly, Sonic Dash (December 20th) lets you unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic by collecting cards. Daily challenges offer extra rewards. Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will receive Shadow-themed updates in January.
