The unveiled cover art depicts main characters and their Pokémon partners engaged in a nighttime Mega Evolution battle across Lumiose City's skyline.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A represents an evolution of the franchise, combining RPG storytelling within a dynamic urban environment with innovative real-time combat. This new adventure in Lumiose City explores deeper connections between humans and Pokémon.

The Mega Evolution celebration includes various products rolling out throughout the year, starting with collectible giant Charizard pins and a capsule collection featuring Venusaur, Gengar, and Lucario variants.

Preorder bonuses at Pokémon Center include random Sitting Cuties plush figures of starter Pokémon. The game was initially revealed last year with a futuristic Lumiose City trailer, with subsequent showcases revealing expanded gameplay details including new characters and rooftop traversal mechanics.
