Pokémon Go Launches $100 Ticket for Premium Toilet Access

Author : Nathan Update : May 26,2025

Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, enhancing both in-game benefits and real-world amenities, including "upgraded restrooms." This year's Go Fest will occur at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, alongside events in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. Players attending the Jersey City event can now opt for this premium upgrade, as announced by developer Niantic, which promises a range of exclusive perks.

Comparable to a Business Class upgrade, the Premier Access ticket offers entry to a special lounge featuring "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating areas to recharge for your next adventure." While the specifics of the restroom enhancements remain undisclosed, the lounge aims to provide a more comfortable experience compared to standard facilities.

Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will enjoy fast-track entry to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing them to bypass lines and maximize their time playing rather than waiting. This feature is particularly valuable at Go Fest, where the merchandise store is notoriously busy, and waiting in line can significantly cut into the time available for catching Pokémon.

The highlight of the Premier Access upgrade, however, is the extensive array of in-game items it provides. This includes 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and many more items, which could otherwise cost players upwards of $300 if purchased individually. Here's a comprehensive list of what you receive:

  • 100 Poké Balls
  • 100 Great Balls
  • 100 Ultra Balls
  • 50 Silver Pinap Berries
  • 100 Super Incubators
  • 10 Lucky Eggs
  • 10 Incense
  • 10 Star Pieces
  • 10 Lure Modules
  • 10 Glacial Lure Modules
  • 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
  • 10 Mossy Lure Modules
  • 10 Rainy Lure Modules
  • 100 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Max Particle Packs
  • 5 Max Mushrooms

Premier Access ticket holders will also receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.

The response to this new ticket offer has been varied. Some players are critical of the high cost, pointing out that Pokémon Go has not previously offered such an expensive upgrade and that the game is increasingly monetized. Conversely, others appreciate the value of the in-game items included and believe that for those who have already invested in travel and entry to Go Fest, the additional upgrade might appeal to those with disposable income.

IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.

Pokémon Go Fest 2025 is scheduled for the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. The event will spotlight the release of the Legendary Pokémon Volcanion and the broader availability of the Mexican regional exclusive Pokémon, Hawlucha.
