Yamada Heiando, a renowned lacquerware artisan, has unveiled a captivating collection of Pokémon bowls, each representing a Chinese Zodiac animal. These limited-edition pieces, featuring Pikachu (Rat), Ekans (Snake), and Dragonite (Dragon), are crafted using traditional techniques.
A Dinnertime Delight:
This collaboration between Yamada Heiando and The Pokémon Company presents more than just beautiful bowls; they're described as "gentle guardians," designed to enhance family mealtimes. The company emphasizes their suitability for babies and children, hoping these bowls will become cherished mementos of childhood.
Each Pokémon embodies a specific developmental attribute: Pikachu symbolizes kindness, Ekans represents growth, and Dragonite signifies openness.
Initially sold out rapidly on January 17th, 2025, these exquisite bowls will be available again starting January 31st. A purchase limit of two per person applies. Priced at 16,500 JPY (approximately $105 USD), international shipping is available with additional charges based on factors like packaging and fuel surcharges. The Pokémon Company also launched a series of exclusive Eevee evolution figures via the Pokémon Center online store on January 16th, 2025.
The initial release includes Jolteon (skillful), Flareon (satisfied), and Vaporeon (playful). More Eeveelutions, each with unique personality traits, will be released in groups of three throughout the year. These figures retail at $29.99 USD each, with limited edition releases anticipated.
