Pokémon Gold & Silver 25th Anniversary Merch Arrives at PokeCenters in JapanCelebrating 25 years of Pokémon Gold & Silver! A limited-edition merchandise collection is launching this month at Pokémon Centers across Japan.

Available Exclusively at Japanese Pokémon Centers (Initially)

The Pokémon Company has announced a special merchandise line commemorating the 25th anniversary of Pokémon Gold and Silver. The collection boasts a wide variety of items, from home goods to stylish apparel, all themed around the classic games. These items will be available at Pokémon Center stores in Japan starting November 23, 2024. International availability is yet to be confirmed.

Pre-orders begin November 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. JST via Pokémon Center Online and Amazon Japan.

Prices range from 495 Yen (approximately $4 USD) to 22,000 Yen (approximately $143 USD). Highlights include stunning Sukajan jackets (22,000 Yen) featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia designs, Day Bags (12,100 Yen), 2-Piece Set Plates (1,650 Yen), and an assortment of stationery and hand towels.

Originally released in 1999 for the Game Boy Color, Pokémon Gold and Silver revolutionized the Pokémon world with innovative features. These critically acclaimed games introduced a groundbreaking in-game clock that dynamically affected Pokémon appearances and events. They also expanded the Pokémon universe with 100 new Gen 2 Pokémon, including fan favorites like Pichu, Cleffa, Hoothoot, Chikorita, Umbreon, Ho-Oh, and Lugia. The games were later remade for the Nintendo DS in 2009 as Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
