Pokemon Center Hiroshima Relocates, Unveils Gyarados Plaza

Pokemon Center Hiroshima will temporarily close in March 2025, reopening at a new location in April 2025. A new Gyarados-themed playground, the Gyarados Plaza, will debut in March at a separate location.

New Location for Pokemon Center Hiroshima

The store's new address will be the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Currently situated on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, the store, open since June 2015, will undergo this relocation.

Gyarados Plaza Opens at Hiroshima Station's Minamoa

The Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima will open March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Advance reservations will be required for a limited time after its opening; details will be available on the official Minamoa website.

Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event

Before its closure, Pokemon Centers across Japan will host a nationwide event celebrating Poke-lun TV's 1 million subscribers. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker by presenting a password from a December 19, 2024, Poke-lun TV YouTube video at any participating store.

Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will feature photo opportunities with Poke-lun TV hosts. This event runs January 17 - February 16, 2025, and excludes Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe.
