Pokémon Go sees every Community Day Pokémon return for end-of-year Catch-a-thon

Niantic is launching a special end-of-year Catch-a-thon event in Pokémon Go, giving players a second chance to catch Community Day Pokémon and earn exclusive rewards, including shiny variants!

This two-day event takes place on December 21st and 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. Featured Pokémon with shiny possibilities include:

• December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet.
• December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio.

For the final ten minutes of each hour, players can encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. The event also boasts 2x XP for catching Pokémon and 2x Stardust, plus numerous other rewards.

Following a year of significant updates, including Gigantamax Pokémon, Niantic is concluding 2024 with one last major community event. While the timing might seem close to the holidays, dedicated Pokémon Go trainers will undoubtedly appreciate this final opportunity for community engagement.
