PlayStation Suit Swings Into Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals welcomes an unexpected crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is joining the game as a new skin!

PlayStation made the announcement on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' rendition of this iconic suit for their hero shooter.

This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games of the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol sets it apart. This Marvel Rivals addition marks a surprising collaboration between Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game. The Advanced Suit 2.0 will swing into the in-game store on January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PC release.

Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts numerous unlockable suits, but this Spidey suit is exceptionally unique. Its connection to the popular PlayStation series and the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man (reprising his role from all three Insomniac Spider-Man games) ensures a familiar experience for players.

NetEase's inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 adds to the excitement surrounding Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which launched last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has also promised at least one new hero every month and a half.
