Mastering Power Charges in Path of Exile 2

Power Charges are key to creating powerful builds in Path of Exile 2. While not essential for all builds, understanding their function is crucial for optimizing certain character archetypes.

What are Power Charges?

Power Charges act as modifiers, enhancing the effects of specific skills. They don't provide direct benefits on their own but are consumed by abilities to boost their power. Think of them as temporary buffs that fuel certain skill effects. For instance, the Falling Thunder skill benefits greatly from Power Charges.

Similar to Frenzy and Endurance Charges, Power Charges are passive until used by a designated skill. Items and other game mechanics can also interact with Power Charges in various ways.
