Every Party Member Joins in Metaphor: ReFantazio - Timeline Revealed

In Metaphor: ReFantazio, aside from the protagonist, you'll have the opportunity to recruit seven additional party members who can participate in combat throughout your journey. Gallica joins early in the game, but her combat capabilities are limited compared to the rest of the team.

Each party member joins on specific days tied to story events, and knowing when they join can be crucial for your gameplay strategy. Be aware that this information may contain slight spoilers regarding party composition.

Each Party Member & When They Join In Metaphor: ReFantazio

Each party member will awaken to their unique Archetype, which can then be utilized by other members of your party. Early on, some members will join without immediate combat control, but this changes as the game progresses and they awaken to their Archetypes.

Storhl - Warrior

Storhl becomes your first companion on 6/5 during the Border Fort events, although he won't awaken to his Archetype until the following day, 6/6, at the Nord Mines. Until his awakening, Storhl remains an AI-controlled party member.

Grius

Following the Border Fort events, Grius joins on 6/6. While he initially won't engage in battles, once Storhl awakens, you can assign an Archetype to Grius, allowing him to become a regular, controllable party member. Grius does not undergo a personal awakening like others.

Hulkenberg - Knight

Hulkenberg begins interacting with your party on 6/10, but she won't fully join until her Archetype awakening during the boss fight on 6/11.

Heismay - Thief

Heismay's recruitment begins during your time in Martira, with his awakening occurring on 7/4 within the town's main dungeon, marking his official entry into your party.

Junah - Masked Dancer

Junah appears throughout the game, but you won't see her join your party until her awakening on 8/13.

Eupha - Summoner

Eupha's recruitment offers some flexibility. During your free time on Viraga Island between 8/19-9/4, you can tackle the Dragon Temple Dungeon. Eupha joins your party for the final boss on the day you complete this dungeon, though you can only start building a Bond with her after the deadline passes.

Basilio - Berserker

Basilio awakens and joins your party on 9/11 during the Saint's Day events. However, you won't be able to utilize him in combat until the day after if you choose to do so.
