Accessing the Dark Aether Nexus and Initial Pack-a-Punch Location

Unlike previous maps, simply reaching the Pack-a-Punch location isn't enough. You must first open the Doorway to Nowhere. This teleporter leads to the Dark Aether nexus within The Tomb.

To open it, progress through the Subterranean Temple area. Locate the altar and interact with it using the Amulet (you'll start with it). After a short delay, the Doorway to Nowhere will open. The Pack-a-Punch machine initially resides within the Dark Aether Nexus, near the center.

Locating the Pack-a-Punch: Multiple Spawn Points

The Pack-a-Punch machine has multiple spawn points in The Tomb. Its initial location is the Dark Aether Nexus. However, it will relocate to a secondary location: the Roman Mausoleum, an ornate ruin atop the Dig Site.

Utilizing the Tac-Map and Stone Slab Indicators

To determine the Pack-a-Punch's current location, consult your Tac-Map. The main map and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. The Pack-a-Punch icon will only appear on the map corresponding to its current location.

Alternatively, check the illuminated stone slab. Lit sections indicate the Pack-a-Punch's position. If the symbol is on the main map, head to that location. If it's on a separate island, it's in the Dark Aether Nexus.
