Open-World ARPG Emerges from the Shadows Ahead of Testing Phase
Wang Yue, a fantasy ARPG, is entering its testing phase after securing a crucial publishing license in China. An initial technical test is imminent, allowing a select group of players to experience the game, identify bugs, and provide valuable feedback before the official launch.
A Divided World Awaits
The technical test will unveil a world ravaged by a catastrophic solar event, leaving behind two distinct continents suspended in a bizarre gravitational anomaly. Tian Yue City, a breathtaking inverted metropolis, floats in the sky above a desolate, ruined landscape. Players assume the role of Qing Wu, a mysterious protagonist betrayed and thrust into this chaotic reality. The narrative unravels around the peculiar reverence for the once-destructive sun, the enigma of the upside-down city, and the shadowy figures intent on eliminating Qing Wu.
Player Agency Redefined
Wang Yue breaks free from conventional open-world tropes, eschewing repetitive quests and mindless combat. Exploration and player choice are paramount. Soar through the skies above Tian Yue City or delve into the secrets hidden within the ruins below; the world dynamically responds to your actions. Non-playable characters (NPCs) exhibit realistic reactions, from calling the authorities for disruptive behavior to expressing gratitude for assistance.
Community Involvement Encouraged
The developers actively seek player input, planning to host discussions, design competitions, and further engagement opportunities to enhance the game's development. Pre-registration is now open on the official website.
