Nintendo is set to delight fans with the opening of its second official store in the United States, located in San Francisco's Union Square at 331 Powell Street. The launch on May 15 marks a significant expansion for the gaming giant, following the success of its New York store, which underwent a transformation from the Nintendo World Store to Nintendo NY and reopened in 2016.

IGN had the opportunity to visit the new San Francisco location to explore what Nintendo has in store for its fans. Additionally, we had an exclusive interview with Nintendo of America's president, Doug Bowser, who shared insights on the timing of opening their first West Coast store.
