Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Is Landing Soon!
Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching March 6th, 2025, promises a thrilling update packed with new content. Before the main event, however, players can encounter the Chatacabra starting February 28th, marking its debut ahead of its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5 will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.
Weapon balancing is a key focus, aiming to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving its effectiveness against breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward precise timing with amplified power, creating more satisfying combat sequences. The Guard skill also receives a significant upgrade; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further balance adjustments will be detailed in the full patch notes released on March 6th.
Beyond combat improvements, Season 5 addresses a common player frustration: overflowing inventories. An Item Box Expansion, available as a Supply Item, will provide an extra 250 inventory slots.
A special anniversary feature arrives on March 17th, celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-year anniversary. This new system allows players to exchange special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
