Marvel Rivals Unveils Hero Stats and Popularity Surge
Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Hero Data Reveals Top Performers and Underdogs
NetEase has released intriguing statistics highlighting the most and least popular Marvel Rivals characters during the game's initial month. The data reveals player preferences and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console. This analysis comes just before the highly anticipated Season 1 launch, which will introduce the Fantastic Four.
Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay, boasting the highest pick rate across both PC and console platforms. However, when it comes to win rates, Mantis takes the lead. This Strategist hero surprisingly achieves over 50% win rates in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%), outperforming other strong contenders like Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The complete list of most-picked heroes is as follows:
- Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
- Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
- Competitive (PC): Luna Snow
Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive). This low popularity is attributed to player feedback citing underwhelming damage and a frustrating gameplay experience. However, hope is on the horizon for Storm fans, as NetEase has announced significant buffs for the character in the upcoming Season 1 balance update. The introduction of the Fantastic Four and these balance changes promise to significantly shake up the meta. The Season 1 launch on January 10th will undoubtedly impact these statistics.
