Marvel Introduces Isophyne to 'Contest of Champions' Roster

Kabam introduces Isophyne, a brand-new original character, to Marvel Contest of Champions. Her design evokes elements reminiscent of the film Avatar, incorporating copper-toned metallic accents.

Isophyne's Unique Gameplay:

Isophyne enters the Contest of Champions with a unique combat style. Unlike traditional characters who build power for special moves sequentially, Isophyne utilizes a "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic. This allows for unprecedented flexibility, enabling her to chain the same special move repeatedly or mix and match specials in any order, creating unpredictable and adaptable combat strategies.

Mysterious Origins:

Isophyne's backstory is shrouded in mystery. She is connected to the Founders, a secretive group within the game's lore, whose story will unfold further in 2025.

Kabam's 10th Anniversary Celebrations:

Isophyne's arrival coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is celebrating with a series of surprises throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. November promises four more exciting reveals.
