Introducing Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, the Latest Masterpiece from the Life is Strange Creators

Don't Nod, the French studio behind Life is Strange, has launched the initial chapter of their new narrative adventure. Players can currently experience "Tape 1," with "Tape 2" launching as a free update for all owners on April 15th.

Initially unveiled in 2023, the game centers on a close group of friends shattered during the summer of 1995. Twenty-seven years later, the specter of that summer returns, unleashing unforeseen and terrifying repercussions.

Blending the nostalgic vibes of It, Yellowjackets, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the game expertly weaves together elements of nostalgia and psychological thriller. The game is structured in two parts – "Bloom" and "Rage" – with only "Bloom," the first half, available as of February 18th.

"The Tape," the second part, will arrive on April 15th. Its initial March release was delayed to allow for further refinement.

The review embargo has been lifted, and OpenCritic shows an average score of 74/100, suggesting a promising start for this captivating mystery.
