GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM Gacha Guide – Banners, Rates, and Pity Explained
Dive into the thrilling world of *GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM*, the eagerly awaited sequel that promises a revitalized narrative, stunning graphics, and a polished gameplay system. A key feature that drives the game's progression is the Gacha system, which allows players to acquire new characters and weapons. These elements are crucial for enhancing your squad's capabilities and advancing through the game. In this comprehensive guide, we'll delve into the intricacies of the Gacha system in *GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM*, detailing its mechanics and the various types of banners you'll encounter.
Understanding the Mechanics of the Gacha System
The Gacha system in *GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM* revolves around a randomized loot box mechanism, where players use in-game currency to summon for rewards, including characters (T-dolls) and weapons. The currency used for these pulls is categorized into several types:
- Access Permissions
- Special Access Permissions
- Event-specific Gacha Currency (earned through special events)
The probabilities of obtaining different rarities of T-dolls and weapons are as follows:
- SSR T-dolls – 0.3% chance of summoning
- SSR Weapons – 0.3% chance of summoning
- SR T-dolls – 3% chance of summoning
- SR Weapons – 3% chance of summoning
Players can summon both T-dolls and weapons across all banners, as they are mixed. Below, we'll explore the different types of gacha banners you'll encounter in the game.
Beginner Procurement Banner
The Beginner Procurement Banner is designed to give new players a head start. You're allowed a total of 50 pulls on this banner, and thanks to a "pity" system, you're guaranteed an SSR character within those pulls. If you haven't received an SSR by the 40th pull, the pity system ensures you get one within the last ten pulls.
The drop rates for SSR characters on this banner are 0.6%, while SR characters and weapons have a 6% drop rate. The pity system also guarantees an SR character or weapon every 10 pulls, and an SSR character every 80 pulls. If you don't pull the featured character on your first SSR, the second SSR is guaranteed to be the rate-up character (hard pity at 160 pulls). Soft pity kicks in starting from the 58th draw. Importantly, pity does not carry over to other banners.
