As the Natlan Archon Quest in Genshin Impact nears its conclusion, the game's lore continues to unfold, revealing secrets that have been speculated upon since its inception. Alongside these revelations, the combat challenges have evolved significantly. Each nation in Genshin Impact features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire stands out as one of the most formidable adversaries.

This colossal dual-sworded Dragon embodies the ancient ruler of Natlan, and its fearsome appearance, enhanced by Gosoythoth, underscores its threat. The influence of the Abyss is palpable in this boss, echoing the mechanics of the Riftwolves from Inazuma with its Corrosion effect. While the battle is challenging, it's not insurmountable. Here's a detailed guide on how to conquer the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Genshin Impact.

Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire is located at the Stone Stele Records domain, just south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. This domain is housed within a shrine commemorating those lost in the Natlan battle. Upon entering, players can claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly boss fights.

To unlock this boss and access the domain freely, players must complete the final chapter of the Archon Quest: When All Becomes A Monument. Alternatively, for those who prefer not to engage with the storyline, the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer’s Handbook provides access.

How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Successfully defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire often hinges on using characters from Natlan, such as Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. The Dragon remains relatively stationary but will summon three Pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora during the fight, which are more easily dispatched with characters equipped with Nightsoul Blessings.

Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing

While it's possible to destroy the summoned Pillars with other characters, using Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina significantly speeds up the process. This quick action is crucial to prevent the Dragon from unleashing its Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars temporarily immobilizes the Dragon for about 10 seconds, offering a window for significant damage.

However, timing is critical, and if the Pillars aren't destroyed swiftly enough, the Dragon's meteor attack will commence. Ensure you're equipped with a shield and have a reliable healer like Furina, Kokomi, Kuki, Barbara, or Bennett on standby to mitigate the Corrosion damage that can penetrate through shields.

Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon

Dodging the Dragon's unpredictable attacks can be challenging, especially when it transforms into smoke and moves erratically around the arena. Its attacks, including sword slashes and smashes, reduce the available space on the battlefield, making navigation tougher.

When the battlefield is compromised, staying close to the Dragon and attacking from underneath can be effective, though caution is advised due to the Dragon's Eroded Dragon Breath attack, which inflicts Pyro and Erosion damage. Positioning near the Dragon's hands can offer a safe spot to avoid the breath's reach. Swift healing is essential to counteract the Erosion effect from any hits taken.

Co-Op Mode and Matching

Regardless of whether you have Natlan characters, engaging in Co-Op Mode can be beneficial. Additional players with Nightsoul Blessing characters can greatly assist during the Pillar phase. Simply select the 'Match' button upon entering the Domain to join another player's world and tackle the boss more efficiently.

Fortunately, this battle lacks multiple phases, unlike some previous Weekly Bosses, but it still demands a considerable amount of time and strategy to overcome.
