  • Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight make their Pokémon GO debut in the Steely Resolve event starting January 21.

  • Players can unlock special research, complete field tasks, and have a chance to encounter shiny Pokémon throughout the event.

Pokémon GO has announced that Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight will debut on January 21 as part of the Steely Resolve event. The arrival of the Corviknight evolutionary line brings more Galar-region Pokémon into the game, answering the community’s anticipation for these steel-winged additions.

With the Dual Destiny season’s launch in December 2024, Niantic unveiled a new loading screen featuring Rookidee and Corviknight—two Pokémon that had yet to be officially announced. Though the Flying/Steel-type pair appeared prominently, no event confirmation followed, leaving fans curious about their debut timeline in the augmented reality game.
