The Pokémon GO Community Day in March 2025 is set to ignite excitement with Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon, taking the spotlight. This event promises a thrilling experience for trainers, alongside a lineup of upcoming Community Days and the enticing Timed Research rewards of the Beloved Buddies event.

Fuecoco Takes the Stage in March's First Community Day

Mark your calendars for March 8, 2025, as Pokémon GO unveils Fuecoco as the star of the first Community Day of the month. From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, Fuecoco will be spawning more frequently across the map, and with an increased Shiny rate, your chances of encountering a rare variant are higher than ever.

Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge through Crocalor during or up to one week after the event grants it the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn the Charged Attack Torch Song, available without any time restrictions.

A Special Background Timed Research will be available, rewarding trainers with a Fuecoco encounter featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks until March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm local time, will further boost your chances of finding a Shiny Fuecoco.

For $2.00, trainers can dive into the exclusive Community Day Special Research. This ticket not only includes the standard Battle Pass and Rare Candies but also grants three Fuecoco encounters with a Seasonal Special Background. This ticket can be purchased and gifted to a friend at the Great Friends level or higher.

In addition to the Fuecoco event, Pokémon GO has announced the dates for Community Days stretching from March to May 2025. The schedule includes:

• Saturday, March 22, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
• Sunday, April 27, 2025
• Sunday, May 11, 2025
• Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

Community Day Classic events will bring back fan-favorites like Ralts, allowing players to relive past experiences. New Pokémon will headline the other dates, though their identities are yet to be revealed.

Candela or Arlo: Choosing Your Path

The Beloved Buddies event introduces the debut of Dhelmise and includes a Timed Research that splits into two paths, each linked to beloved characters: Candela of Team Valor and Arlo of Team GO Rocket.

Before choosing your path, you'll complete initial tasks that reward Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Then, you'll decide between strengthening your bond with your Buddy Pokémon and Candela, or focusing on catching Pokémon and battling Arlo.

The Candela path offers Poffins, Stardust, and Ultra Balls, along with encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash. On the other hand, the Arlo path provides the same item rewards, including a Rocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
